Meet the Planner Behind My Traveling Steps
Making travel feel easy, organized, and thoughtfully planned
We didn’t travel much when our kids were younger. Raising three boys, coaching baseball and soccer, and balancing everyday life kept us busy. Most of our trips were simple—camping, weekend getaways within a few hours of home, drives up to the Seattle area, or long road trips to visit family in Colorado and Nebraska. Like many families, we were working paycheck to paycheck and made the most of what we could.
Even then, I was always trying to stay organized. No matter how much I planned, it felt like I either packed too much or didn’t have what we needed. That all started to change after a work trip, when a coworker’s luggage setup opened my eyes to what organized travel could really look like. That moment sparked a whole new way of thinking for me.
Once we became empty nesters, everything shifted. We were invited to a destination wedding in Mexico, and that trip opened the door to a whole new world of travel. I found myself fully immersed in the process—researching resorts, packing, unpacking, and repacking, trying different products, and figuring out what truly worked.
I began building a system that made travel feel easier—from packing smarter to choosing the right accommodations. What started as a personal process quickly became something I loved. I realized I had a natural ability to organize, simplify, and help others feel more prepared and confident.
At first, I shared what I was learning through videos on YouTube and Instagram. But I soon realized I could offer something even more valuable—helping others plan their trips from start to finish. Today, I combine research, organization, and thoughtful planning to help create travel experiences that feel easy, seamless, and truly enjoyable.
